Dr. Dan Arvizu is the Director and Chief Executive of the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Dr Arvizu is one of the world's leading experts on renewable and sustainable energy. He heads NREL’s work to accomplish the goals of the U.S. SunShot Initiative to make large-scale solar energy systems cost competitive with other energy sources by 2020.
