Abstract

PV market have developed fast in the last years and prospects for development are rather bright in most places. However the road to competitive PV remains complex and the need for fair and long-term regulations remains essetial to accompany PV development. Very often PV development is limited by the fears on the stability of the entire electricity system and the cost that it would represent, which implies to look at sceanrios for future development and especially the cost and feasibility of 100% REs scenarios. Finally the question of declining production costs and innovative business models are both essential to better understand where the PV industry and markets are heading.
